Monitoring your Symptoms and Emotional State

Keeping a Regular Schedule

Having a daily routine will regulate your body which also helps the mind as well. Create a schedule which includes regular sleeping times and avoid too little or too much sleep as these can both trigger episodes of mania or depression.

A regular exercise routine of thirty minutes a day also benefits the mind and may decrease the mood episodes of bipolar and individuals with depression have been known to greatly benefit from aerobic exercise.

Maintaining a regular eating schedule along with a proper diet is also very effective when it come to mood disorders and cutting down on caffeine, alcohol, and sugar can also be very beneficial.
