Eczema Atopic Dermatitis

Eczema is a condition that results in mild to severe inflammation of the skin, which results in uncomfortable itching. Medical professionals often refer to this condition as ‘Atopic Dermatitis’. This is a condition that is referred to as being ‘Chronic’.

• If a sufferer scratches at the area of the skin that is irritated, they may notice that the skin becomes raw.
• The skin will typically become red due to inflammation.
• Many discover that the skin actually changes color.

While the symptoms of Eczema are typically the worst of the experience for a sufferer, there are other complications that may occur. These include acquiring bacterial infections on the area of the body that is affected by the condition. In addition to this, scarring may occur.
